ARTS 210 – GRAPHIC DESIGN I

HARPUR COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCES
Create a series of photographs playing with and challenging the viewer’s expectations about scale. Include spatial cues in your photographs in order to reveal the actual scale of the objects in the photograph. Cropping out recognizable objects will help you keep the illusion alive.
Create a set of nine (9) pairs of photographs. That is eighteen (18) photographs in total grouped into pairs of two (2).
The first photo will focus on showing the cropped/arranged object, giving us the illusion of scale. The second photo will reveal the true scale of the object cropped in the first photo.
Save your photographs as pdf or jpeg format. Follow the template instructions. Submit your final nine (9) photo pairs in the drive.
